About Tree Felling Direction Planner
Tree Felling Direction Planner is a focused web utility at tree-felling-direction-planner.hub2.day that helps rural landowners and aspiring arborists think through a safer felling plan. You enter basic site information—such as the tree’s lean, wind direction, nearby obstacles, and slope—and the planner suggests a felling direction, notch angles, and an escape-route diagram.
The goal is to provide a clear, structured starting point for planning a cut, so you can spot potential conflicts, consider escape paths, and prepare equipment and crew positions more deliberately. The planner does not replace on-site judgment or professional assessment; it is a convenience tool to support better preparation and communication.
We built this site as a simple, independent tool that works in the browser and stays focused on one task: helping you visualize a felling plan before you start cutting. It is designed to be easy to use, fast to load, and useful in the field on a phone or tablet.
